Scott has been passionate about helping people for many years. After graduate study in educational psychology at the University of Washington he wanted to be of service in a more direct way, and decided to study bodywork at the Brian Utting School of Massage. Since then he has continued on his path of integrating body and mind with various manual therapy techniques as well as training in Clinical Hypnosis and Focusing. His current interests have led him to enroll in certification programs in KMI Structural Integration and Aston Patterning.
Scott integrates a structural approach to bodywork with mindfulness practices to help people find health, and most importantly to maintain it. He loves helping people recover from both acute and chronic injuries, as well as helping others reach their goals in sports, fitness and performance arts.
Scott loves connecting with the outdoors through cycling, mountain biking, backpacking and snowboarding. He has also spent many years studying Afro-Cuban percussion loves playing this music whenever he can.
