Michael graduated from massage school in 1996.  He has worked in a variety of medical and wellness centers including physician offices, chiropractic centers and Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA.  He has also been a Certified Trager® Practitioner since 2005 and continues to hone his skills in both arenas by taking ongoing education classes.  Since 2001 he has been an instructor at Cortiva Institute - Seattle (formally Brenneke School of Massage) teaching basic and intermediate massage, kinesiology, professional development and ethics courses to massage students.  He also has supervised massage students at Swedish Medical Center as they provide massage services to oncology, HIV+, and medical patients.  He enjoys hiking, photography. and has completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training.
